About us

Cameron Winters

Cam holds a degree in professional communications specializing in creative writing and editing. He acquired this degree after many years working throughout western and northwestern Canada. His work mandated his living in many communities where he was exposed to a multitude of views and interpretations of written works, characterizations, and candid observations. Tuned into the shifting trends in publishing, Cam offers his accumulated experience and expertise to writers to discover what they will find useful for their projects.

For over two years, Cam was a contributor, editor and member of the board of directors for the Bolo Tie Collective, an annual anthology of literary work from MacEwan University. In 2020 he released What Do You Do With a Salad?, a self-published collection of poetry for middle readers. With continual attendance at conferences, seminars, and open classes, Cam possesses elevated knowledge in technical and substantive editing.

Lacy Winters

With acute intuition for world and character building, Lacy is an especially valuable resource for fantasy and science fiction writers. Her ultra-close reading and attention to detail ensures accuracy, continuity, and a clean final draft. Lacy’s expertise stems from a degree in psychology and social work, experience working with self-publishers, and lots and lots of reading.

Susie Winters

Following Susie’s education and career to date takes one up a switchback trail of dubious disciplinary crossings, abrupt turns, and erratic branchings of overlapping endeavors at last arriving at discerning perspective. After completing a degree in Creative Writing from the University of Victoria, Susie pursued screenwriting for several years, culminating in the production of her feature-length screenplay, All-In Madonna, which premiered in 2020. In tandem with undertakings in film, Susie wrote and published several poems and essays; upheld a practice in drawing and illustration; and co-curated multiple visual art exhibitions. Five years of professional leadership experience, including her most recent role as Curatorial Supervisor for a major public art festival, contributes acumen in communications and a confident grip on project management.

Susie’s approach to editing and illustrating is empathetic, drawing direct lines to authors’ visions. She values pleasure—keeping in sight the wellspring of energy that compelled the author to write.
